We are searching for a driven, detail-oriented content director to oversee the creation of high-quality outputs for our business. The content director will review case law, rules and other content for inclusion in the platform and contribute to new content to be created for use in social media posts, blog posts and other content to be distributed to users. 

To be a successful content director, you should focus on appealing to consumers’ interests by creating engaging material. Ultimately, an exceptional content creator will promote collaboration between internal stakeholders to ensure consistency in our company’s outputs.

This position is remote, and can be executed from a location within the United States.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinating and managing the internal resources for the creation of content into the eDiscovery Assistant application.
  • Managing the timelines and analyzing progress of content creation.
  • Reviewing and tagging case law using our proprietary issue tagging system
  • Collaborating with marketing and design teams to plan and develop site content, style and layout
  • Drafting content on case law, and other changes in the space as well as writing, reviewing, editing, and updating content for company blogs, marketing materials, and social media platforms.
  • Conducting research on Rule changes and updating our Rules database.
  • Working with the content team to provide input into the current processes and identify new ways to push information to users.
  • Collaborating with internal departments to establish content and marketing objectives, complete tasks, and identify and solve problems.
  • Suggesting new ways to promote company offerings and to reach consumers.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor with 3+ years experience as litigator or contract work; OR
  • Paralegal certification with significant experience reviewing and writing up case law for use in motion papers.
  • Writing sample(s) showing ability to analyze case law as well as demonstrated excellence in writing, proofreading, and editing.
  • Excellent research, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Strong listening and communication skills.
  • The capacity to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Ability to work efficiently without compromising quality or accuracy.

Compensation

This role is full time. Compensation is on an hourly basis commiserate on demonstrable writing skills and reaching specific project goals.

This role is part time at 20 hours minimum to start with the potential to grow into a full time role as the company expands. Compensation is on an hourly basis commiserate on demonstrable writing skills and reaching specific project goals.
